midnight & indigo celebrates Black women writers with the Black Speculative fiction issues of their literary journal. Each is a collection of short stories that traverse the strange and the hauntingly real, in which the impossible becomes possible, and every corner hides something magical. To date, our speculative issues feature collective works by 80 emerging and established Black storytellers across the U.S., Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, and Canada.
