midnight & indigo is dedicated to amplifying the literary voices of Black women writers across the diaspora. Dedicated to short stories, narrative essays, and Black speculative fiction, ourliterary journal celebrates Black women’s diverse creative experiences and points of view. Our collections feature emerging and established voices, creating a platform where creativity, literature, and storytelling converge. With every issue, we foster a space to celebrate our stories, honoring the rich legacy of Black women’s contributions to the literary world.

To date, we have published collective works by 270+ emerging and established Black women storytellers across the U.S., Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, Canada, Asia, and Australia.
