Have you finished the first draft of your short story and are ready to submit to literary journals and magazines? Or perhaps you're ready to receive impartial feedback on your work-in-progress and are ready and partner with a coach to understand where your story is working and where a bit of tweaking might be helpful.
Readers don’t just read; they experience a story with all of their senses and expectations. Allow me to partner with you to assess your reader's experience and identify where you're knocking it out of the park...or could make a few changes to make your story even stronger!
Let me be your story coach!
This time is YOUR time.
With yourShort Story Critique: One-on-One Story Coaching and Developmental Editing Package, we'll discuss your draft and I'll provide feedback on viable next steps to take your story to the next level.
TURNAROUND TIME: 6-8 weeks from receipt of your manuscript; excluding weekends and holidays
What you'll receive:
1) A detailed Editorial letter - a written analysis of your short story manuscript, including the following elements and more:
2) A 60-minute One-on-One Story Coaching & Developmental Editing Feedback Session
You'll send me your pages to review in advance, so we can spend as much time as possible focusing on your ideas and burning questions. I will review up to 7,000 words and provide feedback. You’ll be surprised by how much you can learn.
This service works equally well for writers just starting out or those with multiple stories on their belts!
