Fiction is easily the most beloved genre for readers and writers, but it is often the most challenging to write. Well-done fiction includes a delicate balance of components, and if any are off, a story won’t work.

In Fiction Fundamentals: Writing with Toni Morrison’s Beloved, you will learn how to wield fiction’s unruly parts using Morrison’s masterwork as your guide. Anyone can learn how to write fiction well, and in this course, you will learn how to mix fiction’s ingredients like cake and make your stories work every single time.

Open to beginner writers.

All class meetings will be held via Zoom. The link to join your Zoom classroom will be provided on the morning of your class. Please check spam folders if you do not receive an email confirmation upon registration. For more information on how to download or use Zoom, please click here.
