Your POV is Your Super Power: A Workshop on Point of View | 3-Week Online Writing Workshop
Have you ever considered the power of your own perspective? Your POV is Your Superpower is a crash course on the literary device point of view.
During this three-week course, students will become acquainted with and learn the differences between 1st person, 2nd person, and 3rd person points of view. You'll uncover the power of our own vantage points as Black women and learn how to use point of view in your own writing.
Using writing prompts and exploring works created by Black feminist writers such as Faith Ringgold, Safiya Sinclaire, Ama Ata Aidoo, and more, you'll gain an understanding of how to identify each point of view, develop your narrative storytelling skills, and create original short works of poetry, fiction or nonfiction.
This course is for story lovers, beginner writers, and those who desire to become better acquainted with point of view as a literary device in your reading and writing journey. If you’re wondering, this one is for you!
